Some of you know that I enjoy baking, and that I make some excellent cookies. But more than that, I like sharing the product of my baking with others. Since I can’t run for the next couple of days, I’ll be baking! And who will I be sharing with? You, of course!
The first batch will go to TK, who continues to recover from her recent round of surgery and issues related to that. Cookies are healing food!
The following dozens will go to people who donate $25 or more at my Team Challenge fundraising website. For every $25 donated, I will send you one dozen cookies! Varieties will include chocolate chip, oatmeal chocolate chip, chocolate peanut butter, and possibly oatmeal raisin. (Notice a theme? I like chocolate.) I may include others if I really get going. If you have a request, I’ll try to accomodate it!
If you don’t want to donate online, email me! I’ll email my address to you, and then send you cookies when I get your address.
Now, I know that $25 at the grocery or the local bakery will get you more than a dozen cookies. However, grocery store cookies don’t taste nearly as good as mine do, and they don’t support a great, non-profit cause, the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America.
Any questions? Comment, and I’ll get back to you.
Ovens will start up tonight!

Hello!
I am training for the Nike Women’s Marathon with Team and Training so I can relate to a lot of what you are going through. I was hoping that you could share some fundraising tips. I’ve raised only 25% of my goal and I am getting nervous. It’s not due until November but I’d like to concentrate on my training more rather than raising money. I want to try and get most of it done now. So I’d appreciate any advice you may have. I hope your calf feels better soon! I hate not being able to stick the schedule but it’s important to listen to your body. Good luck!
