I haven’t written lately, and I certainly haven’t run. But I did 15 sit ups last night, and another 10 this morning, along with 10 push-ups. Does that count for something?
(I am horribly, horribly lax at strength training. FYI.)

I took down the course map of Chicago that I had up here at work today.
Monday, I canceled the hotel.
My motivation to run is slipping away.
My calves are tight and my lower back is aching. Clearly signs that I need to get back to running regularly. Stop feeling sorry for myself for needing to withdraw. [...]

I’ve given a lot of thought to the Chicago half coming up in 12 days. Over the weekend, I resolved that I would withdraw. Then I ran 3+ miles on Sunday with no ill effects, and was encouraged.
