The Lighthouse Run is Saturday, June 20th, and I will be there! Denise and I are registered for the 10-miler. (No, we are not attached at the hip. Really.)
It’s nice to have another race on the schedule, between now and Napa. Ten miles at that time will be nice preparation for the slightly longer distance in wine country.
I’m sad I won’t be able to do the 5-mile course in Racine this year. It’s great fun, and even though we each came in last in our respective age groups for the 5-mile (me mostly racewalking, Sean jogging), we had lots of fun.
That last part is the most important: that you had fun!
That’s awesome – way to keep going with planning events! There were so many runs I wanted to do this year, but I have no future with running unless I want to have back surgery. I may focus on biking now, and live vicariously through the runs yuo, Denise and Joe do.
