I want to give a big shout out to my Mom, who got on her (at least) 15-year-old bike today, and rode to work, about 4 miles away. For the first time! She has to cross a few major streets in her area, and I’m very proud of her for giving it a go.

TK Update: She came through surgery just fine, and is on to recovery!
Biked to work again today. It was rather cold, but once I stopped thinking about my fingers freezing off, they ceased to bother me.
