I’ve given a lot of thought to the Chicago half coming up in 12 days. Over the weekend, I resolved that I would withdraw. Then I ran 3+ miles on Sunday with no ill effects, and was encouraged.

I ran this morning, in the rain. 1.17 miles. It’s not a lot, but it’s better than 0. I will do this the rest of the week, then schedule two longer runs on the weekend.

I got out and ran just under 2 miles this morning. Just an easy run, nothing too strenuous. The first mile went fine, after some wonkiness with the HRM not communicating correctly between the strap and the watch. Second mile, well, I did shorter run/walk intervals.

Scott says I should sign up for it if I want to. I have a $5 coupon. It’s September 14 – the weekend after our first anniversary (Sept 9).
What to do, what to do. It would keep me running, no doubt.
